Watching miraculous with my daughter made me realize a few things I missed when it first came out. For a kids show, it pushes someone's personal boundaries and in some cases normalizes assault. Not only that, but the main character is seen as a stalker who made a shrine for a boy she likes. That's not the representation we want children to see and idolize. Along with that, the logistics of the show don't make sense from a logical point of view.

Hmm.

I think it's not that bad, but it has a bit too much romance and implied sexual innuendos to ever be considered a kids show, especially in the movie, which was a total abomination by the way. Also,,, love squares?? How would that ever be in a kids show??

Definitely more mature in nature at times, but a great show!

I love this show. I’m 19 and have been watching for years, and honestly I don’t care if the show wasn’t intended for people my age because if you enjoy it, there’s no shame in that. In fact, however, because the creators are seeing that the majority of the audience makes up the ages of 15-25, the newer seasons (season 4 and 5) have been moved up to the rating of TV-G rather than the previous TV-Y7. This indicates that they can portray more grown themes, which they have in fact been doing. For seasons 1-3, I would have said ages 7 and up can watch. However, some of the content is sexual (like them conveniently landing in missionary position) or the sexual innuendos. An example is where Adrien is about to shower, and Ladybug is trying to warn him to leave, and he says “Can I get dressed first?” and Ladybug says “Sure… if you must ☺️” which is obviously sexual in nature. They also almost curse in the new season. Just keep these innuendos in mind if you’re looking for a show for your children. It really is a great show though.

Not the Disney I used to know

What I thought was supposed to be a kid’s show on Disney, turned out to be highly inappropriate. This is not the Disney I grew up watching. I do not appreciate the social agenda they are trying push on our children. My four year old daughter loves the show. Being on Disney, I thought it was ok. Thought it was cute. Until I sat and watched it a little more closely. How did this pass as a kid’s show?!! It is so inappropriate!! My daughter will not be allowed to watch ever again!

It has a very dark and dramatic storyline compared to a series that is shown as a girl series. However most of tur parents let their kids watch it. The love story of a girl and the consequences shown in Season 4 are not that entertaining, I think kids shouldn’t watch until they’re at least 12. The damage caused by an obsessive man, whose wife has been in a coma for about a year, to the environment while trying to bring his wife, is really dark, especially in the 4th and 5th seasons, this series shows that although it is a good series, it also shows that it is a series that does not appeal to the little ones. And of course, it is necessary to be a little mature to understand exactly what happened in the episodes with the character of Felix in the series, it can be difficult for the little ones in terms of logic.

wrong type of girl hero story

hate their body shape and skin tight clothes. also some of the super hero poses emphasize sexuality/“beauty” more than heriocs. way too much stereotypical girl boy mindless drama.

The main character is a pervert!

When i was watching it i noticed the main character Marionette's creepy behavior!! In one of the episodes she steals the other main characters phone and deletes messages. And faces no consequenses but gets rewarded at the end of the episode! Also in one of the latest episodes Marionette breaks into Cat Noir's house and sniff's his pillow!! What kind of a kids show is that? I'd understand it if it was comedy but it's not and its creepy!! Very bad role models no kids or teenagers should watch!!

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir Review

This show sure is an itch that you cannot scratch. The more time the main characters cannot tell their secret identities, the more it boils my skin! I waited patiently from Season 1 to Season 4, yet not even a single break that would calm my nerves. The show complicates everything, even the slightest thing. I'm not even sure how the complicated things will affect the children's mind when they stand on familiar simple things only. The more time I spent watching the show, the more I realized I'm just wasting my time. I cannot tolerate the main concept of the show anymore which is the elusive love life for the main characters. I kept hoping they'd eventually reveal it already but every hope I get is crushed slowly. The show works wonders in you, and then it destroys that inside you. I'm so angry at the show that I'm willing to rant here and waste my time since my time has already been wasted watching that insignificant show! That's all. Have fun watching the lousy kid-series!

MIRACULOUSSSSSSSS!

(bro why did it post on adult page) Miraculous ladybug's genre is comedy/mild romance. If your child(ren) is 11 and under and you don't want to introduce them to flirting early, I personally recommend not letting them watch (I had to learn that the hard way). If you are fine with mild (and adorable) romance then it's absolutely fine. Your child(ren), if 11 and under, could possibly be grossed out though. All in all, this is a great hit for kids, teens and young adults across the globe. Thrills and action. Comedy and flirting. Younger kids may not understand the high school crush though. Marinette's obsession and compliments with Adrien is creepy, especially in Timebreaker (won't spoil). Romance episodes i know : Weredad Oblivio Puppeteer 2 Simon Says (and more, read some reviews on kids section, one kid named all romance eps) I get bullied for watching Miraculous, but who cares? Young adults are in the MLB fandom (including my MUM but that's another story) so why is it a big fuss for me being a fan at the age of 11-12? (Yes I'm 11, 12 this year, i get grossed out easy but i still watch it) I wouldn't watch the first episode to begin with, start with the origins (stoneheart) where Ivan was akumatized and carry on with the first episode (if you come to origins again just skip it, or rewatch?) This comes to an end of my review, I hope this helps you decide but please become a miraculer today! Goodbye! Warning : Avoid Chloe Bourgouis (idk how spell)

Very entertaining show!

I stumbled upon this show by accident, and instantly fell in love with it. The plot is interesting enough to keep me entertained, whilst being a nice break from the more intense shows I’m watching. I am young adult who probably has the mind and attention span of a 10 year old. I have watched the anime, My hero academia, and this reminds me of a lighter, more family friendly version of that, as it contains the elements of superheroes, and an accurate look at what it would be like if teenagers were superheroes. I don’t think that young children would completely understand some elements of the story, ie the romance, but it’s definitely not too mature for them. I assume the target audience for this show is probably middle school age because of this, and because it doesn’t really seem like other kids shows that air on tv around this time that teach kids about things like colors and math. I really wish there was a show like this around when I was younger.
