Didn't expect to enjoy the show this much!
The different ethnicity cast is really cool for representation! Love how they refer to Luz as indigenous instead of Brazilian or Mexican or any other type. Good messages about not lying, trust your friends and confide in them. Definitely a large plot twist in the show that I didn't expect however I will not spoil it, you will have to go watch the show to see! A little bit to much romance ex: kissing, and obvious romantic tension between some of the adult characters however maybe I'm biased so watch it for yourself and see! A 8-9 year old could probably watch it as long as they are ok with the stuff in the show.
