What's the Story?

LOVE FOR SAIL is a reality series featuring women who have set sail on the open seas in hopes of finding love. Each episode features four women boarding a luxury cruise liner bound for the Caribbean to meet a group of men specifically chosen for the occasion by cruise directors Carmen Palumbo and Jonathon \"Bucko\" Buckley. After selecting which men they'd like to spend more time with, each of the ladies spends some one-on-one time with their picks on the ship, and later, out at a port of call. On the final evening, each woman invites the man that she is attracted to the most to escort her to the farewell dinner. Thanks to some unexpected twists and a lack of chemistry, some women don't find true love (surprise, surprise!), but they use the experience to learn more about themselves and what they want for their future.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:

Kids say: Not yet rated

The show features the flirting, romancing, and sexual innuendo one expects from this sort of reality series, but gives it a tropical twist by having it take place on board a luxury ocean liner. However, the over-the-top drama is kept to a minimum thanks to this uniquely contained -- albeit very public -- environment.

Thanks to its mature themes, the series is best suited for an older audience. But viewers able to handle it may find the insight the women gain during this journey interesting. Others may simply find the various exchanges and awkward moments voyeuristically amusing.
