What's the Story?
GET UP AND MOVE is an educational show that encourages preschoolers to be physically active while listening to music. Host Carly Ciarrocchi encourages kids to dance by jumping, bouncing, and hopping, even by wiggling their ears. Adding to the fun are lots of live-action and animated music videos that they can dance to, featuring folks like Gina Lina, the Pre-School Popstars, and Bobs and Lolos. They even get to see Snug and other folks from Sprout House and The Sunny Side Up Show to see how they're moving, too.
Is It Any Good?
This fun, energetic series encourages kids to move to music in lots of different ways. Host Carly Ciarrocchi is lively as she talks into the camera, which will make young viewers feel like she's speaking directly to them. Meanwhile, the music videos, many of which feature young kids, offer lyrics about different dance moves and having fun. Get Up and Move is lively enough to keep preschoolers entertained, and no doubt will inspire many of them to work on their own moves while watching.
