What's the Story?
Family Style is a reality series about Asian cuisine, culture, and community. Hosted by a variety of Asian influencers, the series visits restaurants and talks to chefs as well as interviewing Asian celebrities about their experiences with food. For example, actor Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) shows viewers around his Hawaii home and shares his favorite restaurant, The Pig and the Lady. Fresh Off the Boat's Hudson Yang and his family talk about growing up with their grandma cooking in the kitchen, including an animated section telling a funny story about Yang's many mishaps in the kitchen as a little kid.
Is It Any Good?
This lively series takes viewers through a variety of Asian cuisines and cultures through fun interviews and lots of tasty meals. Family Style episodes of are short and light, but also pack in some depth as people share their heritage and the importance of Asian food in their lives.
