Don’t Bother Watching This.

I’m 14. I started watching this show because I thought it would be a cute, fun little Disney+ kids show experience. Turns out it was actually quite the opposite. It made me so uncomfortable, I had to turn it off after two episodes. I would never, ever let my kids watch this. It talks about menstrual cycles, which is totally fine and great, however, it talks about them way way too much in an extremely uncomfortable way. Same thing with sex. This show talks about sex in a way that makes you extremely uncomfortable. Plus, it says they don’t curse but they totally do. It’s mild, but not to be ignored! I gathered this all from watching just the first two episodes. All being said, do not watch this show!!! It’s terribly inappropriate and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

great show for tweens :)

This show was really good and I liked it as a tween. In the first or so season, there is a lot of talk about periods and puberty, so if you don't want to explain that, maybe it's not the best. Also in episode 3 the mcs brother is talking about how to get his crush to "miami first and second base" and "practices" on a pillow with a bra, then gets caught by his mom and her mom pulls out a binder labeled "the talk". nothing crude is talked about, though. so if you're fine with that one scene, this is a really good show! there's lots of diversity, too. the mcs brother is gay, there are a couple of gay supporting characters in her mom's workplace, there's a jewish character, and a lot of other diverse characters. the main character does make a couple bad decisions, but she always makes up for it and gets punished, so it won't teach your kids to have bad behavior. i really liked this show though!

Super fun!

LITERALLY AN AMZING SHOW!!! I was obsessed with this when I was 11 years old, They mention periods a lot but that’s just a part of life. It’s a super family-friendly show and I’ve watched it a million times.

Very good but for mature audiences

This is my absolute favourite show, top 5 easily and it was pretty funny, and related to my life a little bit. But bobby does think that he might be gay, and later in the series finds out he is and finds a boyfriend and they eventually end up making out. The mum finds bobby in his room with his friends, trying to learn how to have sex with a pillow and a bra on top of the pillow.

I think that this show was pretty good but also a little cringy. It does show what a middle schooler and high schooler would go through but just in a cringy way. There is a lot of talk about bullying and puberty. I think that 11+ would be okay to watch this and enjoy it. There is also some talk about it but never truly mentions “it” also very mild language like dam, and he🏒🏒.

Pretty good but goes through some strong messages

Also I’ve been reading reviews and the gay relationships should not be a reason for you to rate it badly or higher age rating.

Good show!

I say 10+ because there is some swearing but it’s not a big deal they also talk about sex in the show but I don’t see it as a problem since it’s an natural part of life. They talk a lot about periods but like I said before it’s a natural part of life and people need to educate themselves about it no matter what gender you are! They talk about real world problems and it’s a diverse show which I love!! I like that the future president is a woman because it inspires people to work for their dreams. They include problems that most pre teens and teens face too so I really like that because I can relate to the characters more!

Should be PG13

Okay, I love this show and I watch it on an account with adult permissions and I think it should not be on kids accounts. Episode 3 does seem bad but I watched it all the way through and honestly they don’t really talk about anything or do anything bad except for making out one time, if your really uncomfortable with the cycle sisters thing. You shouldn’t be they don’t have anything that bad in the show just briefly mentioning things that are for really 7th grade and up. If your kid has actually had their period these thing will make sense.
