Quality show

This show is getting review bombed because it shows diverse families. Yes these people exist in the show, but it doesn't even talk about them beyond that. You know, that's really the bare minimum in society - to recognize that other people exist. Personally I appreciate the representation. In reality it is a decent show and teaches kids about emotions, social skills like taking turns and table manners, and new experiences like going to the dentist or getting a haircut. It's also much less annoying than the original Cocomelon. My toddler and I like it!

Absolutely wonderful

I think its absolutely wonderful to teach kids that families come in all shapes and sizes. My kid came hope last year from school and said there was a kid being made fun of for having two moms. This show will show kids early that its ok. Nothing sexual about it. Its no different then seeing a mom and dad on a show. Calling it “woke” is just blatant homophobia.

Grown-ups who lament their child's love of the original's marathon-length music videos will be relieved to find this spin-off. CoComelon Lane has the same characters and music that young kids love, but with actual plots. The dialogue makes it easier for very young kids to learn from the content, explaining concepts in simple language that young preschoolers can understand.

The show clocks in at 23-minutes, making it less likely for young kids to fall into a CoComelon trance. However, there are 3 different stories in those 23 minute episodes, and the short run time of each story makes it hard for young kid viewers to absorb the social-emotional concepts. CoComelon Lane is great for kids who are fans of CoComelon, but there are other preschool shows (like Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood or Sesame Street) that teach these social-emotional lessons more effectively.
