Bubu and the Little Owls - Educational content and positive moral values

It's cute, it's educational and brings positive moral values to children and the whole family.

What's the Story?

BUBU AND THE LITTLE OWLS follows the adventures of a young owl and her younger siblings who set out from their family nest to make new creature friends, explore new places, and learn how the world works in and around their forest. As Mama Owl (Brissette Ray) and Papa Owl (Alex Teixeira) keep check on them from a distance, curious Bubu (voiced by Christina Groom) leads the charge with her bespectacled brother, Biel (Crystal Lopez), and their baby sister, Bonie (Cindy Perez), in tow. As they explore the wonders of nature and befriend an array of its inhabitants, these little owls also learn valuable lessons about being kind, having patience, and persevering through adversity.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say (4 ):
Kids say (2 ):

Between Bubu's zeal for adventure and Biel's somewhat more cautious approach to the concept, there's a character somewhere in these sweet stories that will resonate with young kids' feelings on big adventures. Bubu jumps into new experiences with both feet, eager to go and impossible to slow down. Even though her brother and sister aren't quite so gung-ho about it all, the three of them find a lot to entertain -- and educate -- them once they're off meeting new friends and trying new things.

It's hard to overstate this show's charm. Its three tiny adventurers are as cute as can be, and their supportive and encouraging parents give them a solid foundation from which to launch their curiosity-driven learning. Simple knowledge about nature and its living things bolsters the characters' cute cavorting, and the owlets' parents help them reinforce what they learned about themselves and the world around them at the end of each show. With music, humor, and constant reminders of the value of being curious and asking questions, Bubu and the Little Owls is an excellent pick for the preschool set.
