Forgot to mention all the sex talk in the 1st episode. Do I dare keep watching??

Only half way through the first episode and I was very surprised the mention of talk about her "spreading" for guys, making out, being a Virginia, and finding the clitoris were not included in the sexuality section!! Took me by surprise.

What's the Story?

Based on a book by Brazilian author Bruna Viera, BACK TO 15 is set primarily in the town of Imperatriz, Brazil, where Anita is attending her sister's wedding. She's 30, not married, about to be evicted, and feels like a black sheep. Things go sideways at the wedding, and Anita finds herself sitting at her computer in her childhood bedroom. When she finds the password to her old photo blog account and enters it into the site, things get really weird, and she's transported through time to the first days of high school. Can she learn to control her impulses? Or are her impulses the keys to a better future?

Is It Any Good?

Adorable, catchy, this Brazilian series delves into teen drama while addressing larger issues like loyalty, queer identity, life goals, and fate. Back to 15 travels through time with the light touch of a teen's imagination. People who have passed away are alive again, and adored.

The protagonist, Anita (Maisa Silva), is refreshingly goofy and optimistic, and her friends (especially the male protagonists) are interesting and engaging. A nice antidote to some of the darker fare out there, parents and teens can binge on the upbeat fun of this one together. It might even inspire a trip somewhere dreamy.
