Whether your child loves a good story to put them to sleep, or prefers calming sounds to drift them off, this podcast is a great bedtime companion. The Rebel Girls: Dream On podcast features a really impressive array of stories about women who've done and continue to do great things in our world. The featured women in each story come from diverse backgrounds and shine in storytelling, science, journalism, mathematics, art, activism and more. The story episodes strike a good balance between inspiring and calming, while the soundscapes are solidly restful with audio scenes like ocean waves, a symphonic concert, or a bird sanctuary. The soundscapes could be a great tool for repeated listens if your child likes to wind down with audio help. These perks come at a subscription price, though, since only three episodes are available for free.
