What’s It About?
POD MEETS WORLD brings some of the actors from the hit '90s show, Boy Meets World, together to reflect on past episodes and tell fun stories from on set. Meant to entertain fans of the show, this podcast is a conversational style, upbeat show that dissects each episode, discusses the experience of being a young actor, and reminisces on what it was like filming the show. Some episodes feature the young kids of the hosts sharing their thoughts and first impressions on the episodes, as well as interviews with other actors and guest stars on the show and on other popular '90s shows of the time.
Is It Any Good?
Great for fans of the show Boy Meets World, the co-star hosts do a deep dive into each episode and provide firsthand insight from the actors' perspective on set. POD MEETS WORLD is a fun, interesting concept and the hosts are likable, especially if you already love the original show. Episodes are made for and catered to fans of the show, so it may be a rough listen without having watched the show in some capacity. At times it takes a while for the hosts to get to the episode recap, and episodes are filled with conversations and banter that could be boring for some listeners. But for the fans and '90s lovers, this podcast is the gift that keeps on giving.
