What's It About?

IMAGINE THIS invites kids to ask questions about the world and their everyday lives and answers them with the help of real-life scientists. Young listeners will learn the answer to questions like "how are seeds made?", "how did the universe start?", and "where do our voices come from?". Host, Dr. Niraj Lal, brings in just the right expert to answer the question, and the answers are always explained in a fun way that makes learning both engaging and understandable for kids of all ages. Each episode it around 15 minutes, short enough to fit attention spans, but long enough to thoroughly explain the concepts of each topic.

Bringing on young kiddos to ask stimulating questions, Imagine This empowers kids' natural curiosity and teaches them how to search for factual answers. With scientists as their tour guides, listeners are whisked away to unreachable places only their imaginations can take them. They'll venture inside volcanoes, spin webs with spiders, and travel back in time to see dinosaurs roaming the land. Along the way, the host and guests prompt them to engage in activities that help them conceptualize whatever they're learning in that episode. Imagine This acts as a great ambassador of science and is sure to spark listeners' interest in the world around them. Adults may just learn a thing or two when listening with their kids and it's a great way to spark curious discussions.
