If there was a zero-star rating that would be what this movie would have gotten!

The worst movie I have ever seen! It is so boring. The plot does not make sense- the bad guys are their parents!?! The actors are terrible and the special effect looks fake. Very cringy. Worst movie I have ever watched! If there was a zero-star rating that would be what this movie would have gotten! Do not bother to watch!

WORST MOVIE EVER DO NOT BOTHER TO WATCH

THIS WAS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Do not watch this movie! i agree with shaklah boonston and batukanu shaak , this was definitely the worst movie i've watched, I FELL ASLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF IT, HORRIBLE acting, even my sister could act better. plot did NOT make sense at ALL, IT WAS a very disgusting waste of my time, the actors thought they were so cool, NO it was the cringiest movie or even cringiest thing ive ever watched. the bad acting and cringiness gave me nightmares. my children would come running to me in the middle of the night, because they also hated that movie, they hated it so much that they threw samosas at the tv and actually broke it, THANKS ALOT "WE CAN BE HEROES" YOU BROKE MY TV, if you are really heroes then come fix my tv, and all the trouble you have caused!!!!! PLEASE do not watch this movie, i dont even know how it came onto netflix, it looks like it was made on iMovie, i could make a better movie, and i actually have!! BIGGEST WASTE of my time, biggest regret in my life was watching this movie PLEASE DONT WATCH!!! My kids are 18 and they still didnt understand the movie!! NEVER WATCH PLEASE!!! thank you!

this is not a appropriate movie at all, do not bother, inappropriate

Unbelievably horrible. i have no words! if there was a 0 star rating that is what it would get, but i couldn't give it that! this move doesn't make sense at all and can be VERY scary for little children! i would NOT recommend this movie for little kids, even older kids, they wouldn't understand even i didn't understand! i agree with Shaklah Boonston.. Also bad acting, i couldn't tell what was happening. do not let your kids watch this, not good. i do not like this movie, and if i was you i would not waste my time watching it..

Great Example of Team Work

My six year old daughter loves this movie! Parents should keep in mind that this is a movie about kids fighting aliens, but none of the fighting is that realistic and no one actually gets hurt in the movie. There is some language like “oh my god” and “holy doo doo” but it is not prevalent. The overall themes are teamwork, appreciating each other’s differences, courage and believing in yourself. This movie would never win any awards, but is very entertaining for children and I actually enjoy watching it with my daughter, as well.

Normalized violence and laughing at adults

We shut it off when the kids started punching and kicking adults ("aliens in disguise") in the face. My boys are 9 and 7 and struggle with adult authority without this sort of modeling. The movie basically tells kids not to trust adults with anything important.

Great, clean family movie for school age kids

This was a great conservative movie for family movie night. There were no curse words, drinking, smoking, or graphic violence. We have a 6 year old and 9 year old. They both loved it! They said it reminded them of the Spy Kids movie. I appreciated that the hero-villain fighting was mild mannered and wasn’t malicious. In fact, the heros even put cushions under the “villians” before they hit the ground. The themes of working together, learning how to focus, and accepting everyone despite their abilities or differences is A+ material for young kids. The plot was easy enough for the 6 year old to follow but had enough twists and excitement to keep the 9 year old engaged. We will be recommending it to our friends for their family nights.

Moderately entertaining buddy/team movie for kids

Overall? It’s fine. I’m a little disappointed after reading a couple of the other reviews; I waited the whole movie and never saw the promised cleavage. And the supposed violent fight scenes were cartoony and humans versus tentacled slimy aliens- unless your kid is super susceptible to suggestion, they’re not going to go kick the mailman’s butt or anything. Kids from 9ish up to maybe 13 will get a kick out of it. It’s about teamwork and typical conflicts, or self-confidence and overcoming your own doubts. Let them watch it and have fun.
