Wake Up Sid is a coming-of-age film that celebrates the friendship between its two leads and how their relationship develops into something more. Sid and Aisha's journey through to adulthood is rocky, yet relatable as the two try to make sense of themselves and each other. Yet throughout, the film pauses for reflection, allowing the viewer to relish life's smaller delights as the course of Sid and Aisha's lives play out.
