Traumatizing says a 9 year old

My 9 year old wanted others to know her one word description of this movie, “Traumatizing.” A sleepless night followed seeing this long movie about a mother being stabbed. Children should not be subjected to this long, adult movie.

Best DC Movie I've Watched In My Opinion

Greatest DC film I've watched by far. But let's get to how the movie is in age appropriate media. For violence of course there's tons of action with punching, kicking, gun fights and stabbing. Barry is also electrocuted by lightning in one scene which may be frightening to a younger audience. For language there are multiple uses of s--t, ass, and just one use of f--k. For sex there is one minor sex reference at the beginning of the film and in one scene the alternate version of Barry is scene naked with his buttocks showing only for a split second but no genitalia is shown as we all expected. Best suitable for ages 12 and up in my opinion.

Ezra Miller is Fully Naked 😔

100% Spoiler Review.... In my opinion this is absolutely not a movie for kids. At the beginning of the movie Barry touches the lasso of truth and wven though he is not asked a question says "I know what Sex is but I haven't experienced it" The line wasn't funny was absolutely forced. There is frequent use of the word "shit". Not a big deal for me but just letting yall know. The big issue I have is with Ezra Miller being BUTTT a** naked on the big screen. That scene alone should've gotten this a Rated-R. The following scene with the 18 yr old Barry in his apartment was so forced. The scene that shows his female roommate without pants on getting out of bed w/ her boyfriend and in an attempt to make a comedic scene. They zoom in to the fat guys penis while he was trying to show his tattoo. Then when Barry puts on his new suit he says "its tight in my dick" Too many crude, sexual jokes.

Okay for (most) kids

I'd prefer people don't see this film in theaters as Ezra Miller is a disgusting criminal but my dad bought tickets either way so it was too late for me not to. That aside, The Flash exceeded my expectations and was a generally entertaining film, even surprising me with a few plot twists. The humor was great (although one joke has an unfortunate resemblance to one of Miller's real crimes against children) and I enjoyed the action. However, it relied more than slightly on "hey look, A REFERENCE!" for its entertainment value, if not to the extent of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. No spoilers but the title doesn't lie, the trailers do; this is a Barry Allen film, Keaton and Supergirl are at the sidelines here. Content Guide: Sequences of violence and action: There are action scenes where bladed weapons, fists and fantasy weaponry is used. General Zod stabs a heroic character in a scene that is repeated before a device is attached to the stabbed region. There's an obscured (e.g. seen from behind) and a bloodless scene of a general getting their throat slit by General Zod. Barry must save many infants from falling, including by putting one in a microwave, in an action scene that's played for laughs. Barry's leg is bored through in a close-up scene that's played for laughs. Barry, as a child, finds his mom stabbed by a home invader with the knife impaled through her heart (the attack is heard but not seen). There's a scene of action and violence between humanlike aliens from an alien spacecraft fighting many heroes and an army with throwing, fighting, and stabbing. Strong language: Some. There is a use of "f**k" and some other words like 'God', 's**t', 'screw you', 'fricking', 'd**k', 'a**hole' and 'hell'. Partial nudity: Barry's bare butt is seen in two scenes played for laughs.

Story good but not done tastefully

Could have left out so many inappropriate and unnecessary parts. Finally turned it off when the guy in his underwear on the couch almost had his stuff hang out. Not cool. So disappointing for my kids. They even said it was not appropriate And they usually argue ‘oh mom it’s fine’ but they agreed with this one. Kids 10, 11 and 15

Best DC super hero movie - family fun

Great family fun oriented action packed DC super hero movie. One of the best I have seen. Loved its emotional underpinning with love towards mother and father for which the hero takes so much pain to go back in time using time travel to fix some horrible past events after which the plot evolves. Great concept, well directed and edited and fast moving along with light hearted comedy and spectacular special effects. Kids will have such fun with this movie and so will adults. Encore.. Total family package!

The overall movie was good - very animated throughout. The work “dic* is used frequently in the movie “The suite is tight around my dic*” “He’s being a Dic*” ^ a few examples. Sex is mentioned once (briefly) in the beginning with Wonder Woman (holding her lasso)
