The best spiderman movie and the best animated movie of all time.

Hopefully "Beyond the SpiderVerse" can top it. A delight to watch from start to finish, I'm not just saying it. The storytelling is incredible, the animation is the greatest animation of all time. Not to mention the score, which I am listening to while writing this, is also really good. A bit dark at times, but ey.. can't always have the silly fun mario movie (Which I also think was good for what it was). Minor Spoiler: The ending is a cliffhanger, and it is a pretty good one. If you care, there are no agendas in this movie, so.. relax. An 11/10 for me.

Spider-man Across The Spider-verse is a MASTERPIECE.

WARNING! SOME SPOILERS AHEAD!!! IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS DON’T READ THIS REVIEW HOLY MOLY, THIS ONE IF NOT THE BEST SPIDER-MAN FILM! If you loved the animation and visuals from the first film and thought it was 10/10 then the visuals in this one would be 15/10. every frame could be a poster/wallpaper, it feels like the frames were ripped out of the comics! It’s so incredible, Each universe has their own tone and art styles, so it’s always a blast when they go to a new one! My favourite was the LEGO universe, and seeing live action characters in the animation setting was just so funny to me. the story was incredible, it had the action, comedy, romance, stakes, and a LOT of emotional moments. The voice cast also did an incredible job! Some parts are dark, tense and a bit violent (you are watching a comic book super hero film) there are a few moments of peril which may scare younger viewers There are few swear words, some of which include crap and damn.(don't know if you count those as a swear) Some political themes (dialogue from spider punk)that younger viewers may not understand. Every minute was a blast, I just didn’t want the film to end. The soundtrack was also absolute fire. This film is part 1, and the ending felt very much like empire strike backs so it is a cliffhanger, I do have a few nitpicks here and there but that’s my personal preference, but overall it felt just right to end the film there, I don’t really know how to explain it. If you are a fan of the first film or just a Spider-Man fan in general, this really is a must watch! OH, AND THERE ARE SOOOO MANY EASTER EGGS AHHHHH!!! I nearly screamed in my cinema when I saw the spectacular Spider-Man, and YES HE SPEAKS! Overnight my final verdict for Spider-Man across the spider-verse is that it’s an amazing masterpiece of a film, I don’t know if I prefer the first film or this one but regardless, if you are a fan of Spider-Man you should definitely watch it in cinemas or whenever it comes out on VOD!

Could be sketchy for little kids or ¨weird¨ for some families

The movie has Gwen with a transgender poster and her dad wears a transgender flag on his shoulders. Although they are shown for only a short amount of time, certain families might want to think about it. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the movie. (No Offense, but I'm just saying.)

Fantastic film, but very dark at times.

Family friendly, no iffy content unless you count the trans flag. There was no swearing if you count ass, heck or shoot as a swear, get back in the womb. Violence was mild -no blood just punches, kicks and grabs. Good animation (I am aware of them being overworked) I guess of your kid has a short attention span they might be bored because it's long, but it can help them sit down for longer I guess.

loved this movie but I strongly recommend to watch in theaters

I think this movie is the best in the trilogy but don't quote me on that when the next movie comes out. The animation is the best you can see and the voice acting was astonishing, but i do feel bad abt the animators and then being overworked. the experience in theaters with a friend or by yourself is just amazing and I recommend it to everybody. I personally went to the theater with one of my friends and it was one of the best experiences I've had in a movie theater.

Spectacular animation and great story, kinda annoyed at the ending though

This movie was an absolute blast to see in theaters, and one of the few I would genuinely recommend to see in theaters. Me and my friend had a blast watching this and it´s an experience that I will remember fondly. The animation/visuals are stunning and the story is complimented by the music. This movie has great characters and none of them over stay there welcome. There are a lot of funny jokes in this movie and none of them feel forced. I loved seeing all the different animation styles and was genuinely surprised to find out that the whole Lego sequence was animated by a 14 year old, just think about that for a second, someone possibly not yet in high school animated that, and did very well. I was upset to hear how overworked the animators were but the animation is still beautiful and it remains a fact that they did a great job. This movies pacing is also surprisingly good for a 2hr+ movie. I will say that the ending kinda disappointed me, only because I felt that in the first it had a more complete ending with still being able to add more, I just wish they had a cliffhanger with still ending the chapter of the story. I am very exciting for the end of this trilogy, the first two have changed cinema (and animation), I am more than excited to see what the finale has in store.
