Extremely violent action.

Nonstop violence and gore, and lots of cursing ("f--k", "d--k", "s--t", "p---y"). Not kid-friendly. Also drug references.

Violent and thrilling action horror

Alright to sum it up Arnold is sent with a whole bunch of “elite” soldiers in Guatemala to take out Guerrillas in the jungle then a alien from space is skinning humans to the bone and ripping out Billy’s spinal cord (skull still attached) a lot of swearing questionable jokes also eventually Dutch (Arnold’s character) is last man standing and has to takes out the ugly mo- (yeah I’m gonna leave the rest of that to you to decide) by himself. Then Arnold is about to bash in the Yautja’s head with a stone then it enables self destruct wrist bomb in a way to kill Dutch a formidable opponent but fails killing it self in the process. Is a must watch

One of my personal favourite movies

A good, classic Arnie movie featuring and alien, marines, and lots of gore and swearing. There are a couple of jokes that are really suggestive, but it’s not that bad. The violence is the main part here. It shows skinned bodies and has a lot of blood, though it is dated.

its ok not as explicit as everyone thinks

the film is ok, the CGI is bad tho, its an alr movie and i recommend this film for kids aged 14-16 but my specific rating is a 15+ because it contains occasional coarse language and intense moderate action violence with occasional bloody moments but it’s not that bad as everyone thinks and it was rated 18 in the uk for no reason luckily it’s rerated 15 now

“Get to the chopper!”

Predator is a 1987 sci-fi action horror film directed by John McTiernan and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elpidia Carrillo, Sonny Landham, Carl Weathers, Bill Duke and Kevin Peter Hall. Language(4/5): The film has 24 uses of “f**k”, 16 uses of “s**t”, 12 uses of “hell”, 6 uses of “g****mn”, 4 uses of “damn”, 3 uses of “pu**y”, “son of a b**ch”, “G**”, “a**” and “bastard”, 2 uses of “puta” and “J*s*s”, and 1 use of “f***ots”, “Ch**aman”, “c**ksucker”, “d**k” and “pissed”. The film has 86 total curses. Sex, Romance and Nudity(3/5): Hawkins makes two crude jokes about his girlfriend, the first joke being “'The other day, I went up to my girlfriend, I said “You know, I’d like a little pu**y.” She said, “Me too! Mine’s as big as a house!'” and the second joke being “'The other day, I was going down on my girlfriend. I said to her, “Jeez, you got a big pu**y. Jeez, you got a big pu**y.” She said, “Why did you say that twice?” I said, “I didn’t.” Cause of the echo.'” The skinned men are naked, but because of their mutilated state, nothing explicit is seen. A woman is seen wearing a tank top. Shirtless men are shown throughout. Drinking, Drugs and Smoking(3/5): Dutch and other characters smoke cigarettes and cigars. Chewing tobacco is used a lot. The men drink alcohol such as whiskey to cope with stress. The phrase “illicit drugs” is said. Violence(5/5): Near the beginning of the film, Dutch’s crew discovers three men that have been skinned to death; they are shown with their skin pulled off of their monstrously contorted bodies with blood visible. A man is brutally shot in the head with blood spraying on a wall; the camera is far away but the kill is graphic. Dutch’s crew kill tons of criminals with guns and explosives, and Dutch stabs one man with a knife. The Predator starts gradually killing off the main characters one by one. Numerous scenes show gun violence. Mac becomes paranoid at night and stabs a pig to death after mistaking it for the Predator; this is mostly in shadow but we do see blood spurts covering plants and we hear the pig squeal. Many scenes are tense and there are some jump scares. The most violent scene in the movie is Mac’s death: Mac ends up alone and tries to kill the Predator but accidentally reveals himself to it, we then see the three red dots on Mac’s forehead and it then cuts to him being shot in the head; his blood and brain matter spill onto the camera lense. The Predator takes one of the victims bodies and rips the spine out of the man; this is seen from a distance. Dutch stays behind and decides to take on the Predator by himself. (SPOILER ALERT) The Predator and Dutch engage in a tense stand-off that ends with the Predator setting up an explosive that kills itself. (SPOILERS OVER) Positive Messages(2/5): Dutch’s persistence for survival and willingness to sacrifice himself is somewhat noble. The film also suggests that the intelligence and strength of humans can be just as strong as unthinkable powers and technology, considering that Dutch nearly beats the Predator by simply using his own wits. Positive Role Models and Representations(2/5): Dutch displays resourcefulness, leadership, strength, courage and resilience. Watching Experience: Nothing of note with my experience regarding mature content. Quality(opinionated): (My rating) Rated R For intense bloody violence and language including brief uses of slurs and brief sexual references.

Predator it's a classic, don't be afraid to show it to your child

It's a movie with a lot of action and two scenes of gore. One shows some skinned bodies hanging from a tree and another is about explosion. It's a great classic action movie, and it has some iconic phrases. But the point here is: I watched this movie when I was 13 and I didn't die. I'm a 13 year old girl and I was able to enjoy the movie's action and all, so don't be afraid to show your child this movie, unless he is overly sensitive or fearful.
