Very good film, amazing and feel good.... BUT not for age 12 children. Very sexually explicit and bad language. Went to see with my 2, 12 year olds... they were horrified and felt very uncomfortable. We had to leave half way through. I later watched the end which was very good.

Empowering Exciting and Funny, See It!

This movie is funny and empowering, a hit for all ages. I loved the depiction of two dynamic sisters who support and appreciate each other despite their differences. The other women in the film, whether they are mothers or friends are complex and interesting, showing viewers a slice of life in a predominantly Pakistani community in London that is nuanced and yet a familiar immigrant story where tradition competes with modern life. Ria the protagonist who wants to be a stunt woman is the catalyst for some wonderful fight scenes that are often funny and extremely well choreographed. My 11 year old son loved the martial arts scenes and the humor. He said it was better than the Avengers. My 9 year old daughter who is very partial to animated movies was entranced by this one though she winced at some of the fight scenes. Both of my kids recognized with glee the intense bond between the sisters as similar to the one they have. This movie was my top choice for Mothers Day weekend and it was a real treat.
