Everything you want from a summer spy thriller action blockbuster
This film was everything you want in a summer spy thriller action film. There are chase scenes and stunts that take your breath away. There are double crosses and mask reveals that are interesting and fun. There are new characters that are intriguing and gritty. There is the old team that you want to spend time with. And there is Tom Cruise holding it all together as only he can. The film is fun, the pacing makes the 2 hours and 45 minutes fly by and you are invested in the characters onscreen. A delightful summer blockbuster film that goes down easy when watched on the big screen.

Very Intense Movie for Young Teens.
Great movie but too intense for young teens. Movie starts off with killing and is violent till the end. I would say high school age is a minimum here due to the content.

Really long, so kids who find it hard to keep still may be better waiting for it to come on a streaming service, but other than that we loved it. Heaps of action and a range of action too - digital AI, espionage, as well as the physical car chases and fight scenes. Great characters and overall my two kids 9 and 10 loved it. A few scenes that caused my 9yr old’s eyes to shut tight (a knife through the hand, a few slams of heads against the wall) but nothing overly gory. Mature 10 or 11 year olds would be fine, but I’ve set it at 12 mainly because some of the dialogue will go above younger kids heads, and for the length. However we really enjoyed it.

Our family loves all of the Mission:Impossibles, but this one is our favorite. Our 8-year-old watches these, but covers her eyes for stabbings, shooting, ect.
Acting super great, and the storyline is perfect. There is a lot of stabbing and violence, and *spoiler alert* we cried when our favorite character was stabbed. Parents should watch the movie before watching with young children, as there are lots of things that may be sensitive to children.
There is swearing and curse words, but not too many where it is way too much.

See it WITH your teens
Fabulous action-packed movie where you can suspend reality. It is packed with fight scenes, mind-bending stunts, and weapons, but I knew that going into a PG-13 movie with my 12 and 14 year old boys, so I don’t want to say “it has too much violence”. Actually, the movie gave us the opportunity to talk about the sensationalism of the screen, artificial intelligence, and sacrifices of the main character for others. Oh, and Tom Cruise was fun to cheer for.

Good movie with unrealistic violence. Good for kids
I loved this movie. Parents must know there are several scenes of shootouts and knife fights. This violence isn’t very realistic. There are positive role models such as the main protagonist, he helps people and does all in his power to make sure his loved ones are safe. In summary it’s a good movie that isn’t bad to mature children .
