Not Bad!

I personally enjoyed this movie. It was funny, the plot was decent, and, thankfully for me and probably others, there wasn't much in terms of sexual innuendos. There was some kissing and a comment related to this topic, but overall, it wasn't as bad as Iron Man. Moving onto violence. To be honest, I don't really remember what happened, but it wasn't that bad, but then again, I can easily handle gore and its related things, so don't take my opinion into consideration. Role models? Definitely. The main character, Scott Lang (aka Ant Man), was a former criminal. He, however, ended up helping others and became someone worthy of NOT being put on house arrest (you'll see what I mean if you watch the second movie). After all, he has a daughter, and he wants to be a good role model to her. Why not steal a suit you were eventually told to wear by its owner and save the world? Isn't that the best idea you've heard? It certainly is for me. In terms of drinking, drugs, and alcohol, I don't remember. Don't take my word for it, but I believe it was minimal. I mean, at least Scott didn't drink every second of everyday (if at all), unlike Mr. Stark over here. I'm sorry if any information on here is inaccurate. It's been a week since I've watched the movie, and I've watched many movies, so it's kinda hard to differentiate between them all, especially since they've all been related to Marvel, hence the Iron Man references. Sorry, Tony, but you're flawed. In all seriousness, though, Ant Man is definitely a movie which should be watched. Teens and over can definitely watch it, but otherwise, viewer discretion is advised, and parental supervision is recommended. Thanks for reading! :)

If it weren’t for the language (and slightly less violence) it could have been rated PG

The most family-friendly mcu movie.

This movie probably has the least amount of swearing or violence from a marvel movie. That being said, though there’s still some. They use sh*t infrequently, asshat, pu**y, but they use it like coward instead of the other meaning. Overall, it would be rated pg if it wasn’t for the language.

GREAT MARVEL MOVIE!!!!

LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! I watched this with my dad and my 11 year old sister, and there were no parts we needed to skip. There was some language, so if your kid is a person who would repeat the language they see on TV, then don't watch. But other than that, It's really funny and the violence isn't too bad, there's one kiss and you barely even see it, and the few comments reffering to women weren't all that inapropriate. so I would say 10+

Hilarious movie!

I laughed so many times! It's a great movie! Paul Rudd does really well in it! Light drinking. There's kissing. A woman sits on a man's lap, boobs is said, and woman are called "hot". A guy and lamb get turned into a pile of goo on the floor, but the violence is honestly very light compared to other Marvel movies. Brief sighting of blood twice. An ant gets killed by a bullet, which is like Hedwig getting killed in Harry Potter. Cuss words include A**hat, a**, h*ll, st**id and d**n. Overall, it's a great movie to possibly watch as your first Marvel movie!

“Wait, I didn’t steal anything! I was returning something I stole!”

Ant-Man is a 2015 superhero action comedy film directed by Peyton Reed and starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, Anthony Mackie and Abby Ryder Fortson. Language(3/5): The film has 11 uses of damn, 9 uses of “a**”, 7 uses of “hell”, 6 uses of “s**t”, 3 uses of “pu**y” and “G**”, 2 uses of “son of a b**ch” and “bastard”, and 1 use of “g****mn it” and “boobs”. The film has 45 total curses. Sex, Romance and Nudity(2/5): Luiz says “'the first pair of boobs I ever touched'” once. Women are referred to as “hot.” A woman sits on a man’s lap. Characters kiss. Drinking, Drugs and Smoking(1/5): People briefly drink beer, wine and champagne in social situations. Xanax is mentioned. Violence(3/5): A man slams another man’s head onto a table, breaking his nose; we briefly see it bleeding. Heists and stealing are shown. When Scott first shrinks in the Ant-Man suit, he almost dies several times from a rat, a dog, and a record player. A lamb is experimented on, and when trying to shrink it, the lamb disintegrates into a pink goo. A scientist that stands up to the villain is shrunken into a bloody goo, picked up with a napkin and flushed down a toilet. A plane crashes in a flashback scene. Fistfights and gun violence throughout, though not much death. Falcon and Ant-Man fight for a long time. Hank Pym is shot with a gun, we see his bloody chest briefly but he survives. Ant-Man’s beloved ant is shot by a bullet and dies. Sci-fi carnage occurs. During the climax of the film, the villain and Ant-Man fight on a model train set and the villain endangers his daughter. Positive Messages(3/5): The film encourages messages about redemption, forgiveness, teamwork, friendship, respect, courage and trust. Positive Role Models and Representations(3/5): Scott starts out as a thief who’s resorted to crime to help his family, but he redeems himself and becomes a hero. The film has many other characters who’s uneven pasts of criminal behavior are redeemed by doing good unto others. Watching Experience: Quality(opinionated): (My rating) Rated PG-13 For sci-fi action violence and language.

Great Movie

This movie is a great "first Marvel movie". There isn't too much violence, and the final battle is not too violent, but still really good.
