One of the best Zelda Games!

Prior to my rating, I want to state that I have a natural bias due to growing up with this series. With that out of the way, let's get this rolling. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. It inspires creativity and exploration with its diverse world that gives different possibilities on how to go from pint A to B. You could scale a large mountain and glide, get on a raft, ride your horse, and much more. Another factor of this game that inspires creativity is its mechanics, Ultrahand. You can build cars, boats, planes, or whatever you imagine. There have been people who've built swings for the little creatures called Koroks. The only negative for younger audiences would be this game's particular infatuation with fear. Ganondorf (the main antagonist) kills a character on screen. (no blood of course) Ganondorf also starts out as a living corpse with his body twitching and cracking. The music, while great, is designed to make you understand that this antagonist is designed to strike fear. Another fear factor is the new area, the depths. For me, it wasn't that bad. The Depths is a large underground map that is pitch black until you interact with the things called light roots, which will cast light in small areas. The enemies are much more difficult and have distorted screams. Other than all of that, this game is perfect for about all ages.

Really good

Way better than Breath of The Wild, my previous favourite game, great art style, new abilities are intricate so might be hard. Nothing scarier than a PG movie.

Refinement, not reinvention, but that's okay.

It seemed almost impossible to beat the masterpiece that was Breath of the Wild. My brain said with confidence, "There will never be a game better than that" after my first playthrough. Little did I realize that Tears of the Kingdom would completely dethrone that expectation of "best game". Although it might be too scary for little kids, it's nothing a mature kid or teen couldn't handle. At times, reading skills are needed, and some advanced gaming skills are needed. A great game for most ages, but not all. Tears of the Kingdom didn't reinvent the wheel, nor did it have to. Exploring Hyrule, although there isn't much new, is a nice throwback to 2017. Although it didn't take my, shall I say, breath, away, as the first game did, but that didn't affect the gameplay negatively. Even though not much is new, Nintendo still manages to make Hyrule feel fresh and new once again.

Get BOTW first

This game was a really good game! Adding 3 more worlds( they are not worlds but what else should I call them?) to the map of Breath of The Wild. It can be a bit scary for young ones and there is a lot of combat but it's pretty PG. I like Breath of The Wild better cause it feels less chill, has better music, and the weapons had better names.

Amazing game, A little scary, huge

This is one of the best games I've ever played. I got it on the day it was released, which was yesterday at the time I am writing this, and it is amazing. The worldmap in HUGE, 3x as big as breath of the wild, and you can basically do anything you want in the game, except for petting dogs and killing npcs, to my dismay. It is a little scary at times, a mummy comes to life to jumpscare you and talk to you near the start, but it encourages you to be smart instead of strong when you battle enemies. The soundtrack is really good and relaxing, and it preforms surprisingly well for the switch. This game is definitely ok for ages 8 and up, though it might be a little hard.

one of the best zelda games there is

IKIKIK i haven't played any zelda games but i can just tell is is one of the best game in the franchise and there is prob other just as good but in till then suck it. So this game is so enormous its sometimes overwhelming but you get used to it, the characters in game are so detailed and unique only thing i think could be better is the sages powers. bc Sidons in basically useless in any fight, Rujus in meh at best but only for Queen Qibdo, Yunobo is one of the best powers considering the other ones its the most well rounded power, I LOVE TULIUN He is so great and especially useful in the sky to get to farther places AND THOSE HEADSHOTS BACK TO BACKK MHMHMHHH . Kohga has to be the funniest side characters there are in this game. idk if anyone else thinks this but here we go, i think the story felt short and im not saying its bad but i feel like i could have done this game in 2 -4 days if i really tried and didn't mess around but maybe its just me over all i loved this game the story and cut scenes were immaculate this is one of the ONLY games where i actually cried at parts . and the demon king fight was easy ish at the beginning but the dragon part was amazing and so different between all the other fights. BEEDLE thats all i have to say abt him and one last thing everything's zonai related was one of the best things to be added in this game

Great game with some minor issues

The game is so creative so fun and I love to play all of the shrines. It’s a really fun adventurous game and so exciting but I do wish you could pet the dogs but that’s not a big deal. Also, some Zonai devices like the glider and hot air balloon are on a timer so it’s not very worth using them since you can just use the bike instead. Overall a very good game

BEST GAME ON SWITCH, PERIOD.

They do not talk about how spooky some of these enemies are. If your child is a wimp (like I was when I was 8) It will creep them out. But the skill gap between this and Breath of the Wild is VERY LARGE. Especially some of the boss fights, temples, puzzles, building mechanics, and a few more things are fairly hard. The good thing about that though is that it adds a level of Complex thinking. There are sometimes DOZENS of ways to solve a certain problem. If your child has not played BOTW I would suggest getting them that first. Also for those very picky parents out there, there are good role models and diversity.

ITS NOT SAFE HERE!THERE ARE SPIOLERS!!!!

This is one of the greatest games ever, I don't know why you're checking common sense to see if it's fun or not cuz it's a sequel... If you didn't know that.......... I think we got bigger problems. So please play Zelda Breath of the Wild first before you play this, if you didn't like it... Too bad, but if you've played it before... Why are you even here! It's a great game!
