Good game but not the best

This is a great Mario game, but not as good as Super Mario 3d World. Levels can be challenging sometimes, but are mostly easy. There is not violence and no scariness. This is a great Mario game.

New Super Mario Bros. U, along with the New Super Luigi U expansion pack, two excellent games for any Wii U owner.

NSMBU and NSLU are great together, and have their differences, but I'll talk about NSLU in another review. NSMBU is traditinal Mario, and I think it is the best 2D Mario platformer out of all of them. It is very exploration-based, despite being 2D, giving you hidden areas, pipes, secret exits, and 500 seconds on the clock (though each "second" is actually three fourths of a real second, which is dumb). It challenges you to get the three star coins in each level. The world map is linear, and each world has a secret level that makes the map somewhat non-linear. This game is best for multiplayer. Four players can have fun platforming and exploring together, while the fifth player uses the GamePad touch screen to defeat enemies and create platforms to boost the players up. The whole thing is fun, but if you've played the three other New Super Mario games, it might be less fresh and new. It has the best level design out of all of the 'New' games, a free-to-explore map, has new power-ups, the Nabbit chase bonuses, and the game names each of the levels. I have made a challenge of trying to get every star coin, even in the secret levels. Outside of the story, outside of the save files, there are boost rush and challenge modes, which are fun, but can get hard. They allow you to play as a Mii character, which I like, but should have been in the main game. After you beat New Super Mario Bros. U, you can go on to the flipside game, New Super Luigi U (the two games are usually sold together). *CONTINUED IN MY NEW SUPER LUIGI U REVIEW*

Excellent platform game that still has the classic adventures

This game is no letdown. It is as amazing and fun as every other Mario game and it also has teamwork.

Super super awesome.

It may be a little bit harder than the usual Mario games. Though, it is the most coolest Mario game in the store. Well best thing ever. You MUST BUY IT.

Quite suitable

It does have good graphics. and some good messages but what I would be careful is the fast that Mario kills creatures by jumping on them. butns things alive. freezes things. smashes things for only a girl? Wow. Mario is a psychopath,

Good game!

I started this game when I was 5. It was the first wii u game I ever had. A few days later... I was just like OMG this game is getting awesome! Even it's appropriate of course but mild cartoon violence only. But it's not bad at all!
