this game was honestly a trip of nostalgia.

i loved this game. i had an SNES my dad gave me when i was younger. i remember playing super punch out and such, but i LOVED mega man X. i also played maybe X2 and 3. but when i saw this game on the black friday sale for nintendo switch, I HAD to get it. i got collection 1 and 2, and i saw X games i didnt even know existed! for example: X5, 6, 7, and 8! X4 was my favorite out of the ones i had played using the collection. but this game brought back my favorite memories, and at a lower difficulty using rookie hunter mode! theres even achievements you are able to get! (First Armor, Hadoken, Hyper Chip, etc.) but this game was amazing! hope a mega man legends collection comes out soon!

Mostly great games, great collection overall

This collection is great for fans of the series. Having the entire series for modern consoles is great accessibility, and the addition of the new mode is great. Mega Man X1, X2, and X4 are excellent games, with X3 not far behind. X8 is an OK game, and so is X5 but not as much. X6 and X7 are not good at ALL in my opinion however. Overall, a great collection with great games in it.

Great game but some mild violence

The game is great! There are deaths of main characters though an since zero is my favorite character I cried at the end of x 5.

A few things not mentioned—

First of all, I haven’t played the X games much BUT I have watched let’s plays of them on YouTube and I’m a mega man fan. Messages are mostly positive but a lot of cartoon violence. Also they’re maverick hunters not reploid hunters so they’re fighting rouge robots called Mavericks, so they’re fighting their own kind. There’s no sexual content to worry about. It’s a pretty dark concept, but not as dark as the zero series. T rating seems appropriate. Also Zero says “damn” a few times through the series. X and Zero are good friends and their friendship is a good role model
