A Sequel Worthy of the Original

This is a breathtaking fantasy RPG. Choose a style of fighting be in Warrior, Mage, Battle-Mage, Thief, Ranger and more. Fight alongside your often chatty companions the "Pawns" to take down beasts with the final goal of killing the biggest dragon of them all. Combat is different than any other game out there. There is no lock on and no assist so younger players might find this a hard obstacle to overcome. There is a little blood and some gore in the game but nothing to crazy. Sex is implied and there are some monsters that appear topless but no details are shown in that regard. That being said the biggest complaint I have in this regard is player created Pawns which can be scantly clad. Some bad language is present but tame/rare. There are bars in the game where you can buy a round of drinks for fellow patrons and its common for patrons to appear drunk. My biggest complaint like most games is the presence of micro transactions which allow you to purchase rare supplies for real money. To me this is a disturbing trend that needs to stop. All in all though I loved this game. So long as parents watch what there kid is doing in this game Id say its perfectly fine. (this goes without saying but steer clear of the brothels. While there is no sex scenes it is implied)

Great game for teens who love D&D

Common sense going crazy again. The whole sex thing is a lie and also the game says nothing about it so even if it were true your kid wouldn’t even find out about it ever. The blood can be turned to a minimal setting.

Dragon's Dogma 2 may not have the same mainstream brand appeal in the West as other action role-playing game franchises, but it's an exceptional (and sometimes an over-the-top ridiculous) game that's easy to pick up but difficult to put down. It may also be a little buggy at times, so be sure to download updates before you play, but thankfully it doesn't detract from the fun.

The game may be similar to the Capcom's own Monster Hunter series but has enough unique features and depth to separate it -- and it's considerably better than the original Dragon's Dogma. Dragon's Dogma 2 is a worthy fantasy RPG that offers several dozens of hours of gameplay. Teens and adults looking for an ambitious single-player adventure will find this is one of the year's best to date.
