Connected Schools Program

Media and tech guidance that supports your school’s educators, students, and families

When it comes to media and technology, it takes a whole community to raise our kids. No person, family, or school should have to do it alone. That’s why Common Sense Connected Schools is here.

Common Sense is an independent nonprofit on a mission to make media and technology safer, healthier, and more equitable

for kids everywhere. We take a whole community approach to help kids thrive at home, in the classroom, and in the world.

About the Program

The Connected Schools program, designed primarily for independent schools, offers curated and research-backed

resources to help schools build a positive culture around technology. The program helps families and educators use

media and tech responsibly and effectively for learning and life. It’s rooted in Common Sense Media’s original research, extensive library of age-based ratings and reviews, our award-winning K–12 Digital Citizenship Curriculum, and

trusted parenting guidance.
