This series' fun premise gives young readers the chance to dream about they'd wish for. And the lovely way the stories are structured helps them think about what would happen if endless wishes could come true. The Wish Library Series centers on friendship and communication, and reminds readers that most situations are more complicated than they seem, and that changing one event can have lots of unintended consequences. The stories are simple and engaging, but the real treasure is how those stories spark ideas and conversations for readers.
