Educational value
I highly recommend this book to all the parents and early educators to read this book at less once to your child. I promise you will get your child attention for this book. I am a mother of three children and I work in a pre-school and from my personal experience the children love this book

Terrific story
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a most popular book with kids. I read it to the children up to the age of 8. Wonderful for ESL students.

Perfect for 1 year olds up
Both my kids loved this book as babies and toddlers, reading it so often we had to replace it 3 times. I remember reading it myself as a school child so it really is all ages.

The deeper meaning behind The Very Hungry Caterpillar
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is beautiful piece of pro capitalist media. The Caterpillar is starving due to living in an ex-communist state. Due to his malnourished condition he continues to eat food and benefits greatly from the positives of living in a capitalist society, i.e having enough food to not starve to death. I am a very capitalist man and I love the message that this books delivers to our youth. 5/5

Much to love, especially for little kids.
What's not to like, what with the variety of foods and the rich colors? Kids will also enjoy counting.
