My Favorite Book Of All Time!!!
This book is absolutely amazing! It has an incredible storyline and covers hard topics such as death, abuse, and inequality gracefully. It makes me cry (in a good way) every single time I read it! There is some strong language, and a few sex scenes, though they are not terribly graphic. There are also several descriptions of family members abusing teens for being gay including one where a mother beats her daughter after catching her with another girl. The story itself follows two girls in their journey of finding love and acceptance through difficult times. Overall, this book covers important topics and is a beautiful story about love, friendship, family, and finding yourself. 100% recommend!!!

Very emotional and thought-provoking
Personally, I thought the depiction of LGBTQ teens (coming out, homophobic family members, questioning) was very accurate and it really hit close to home. Definitely one of the best books I've ever read, probably the very best LGBTQ romance!
