The Cat in the Hat

Ok so, this book is pretty darn scary! I remember when I was about 5 years old, and I was horrified by this book. Just the thought of a man in a cat suit telling us bad stuff was scary to me. But now that I read it, this book is a classic and decent! But I recommend to not read this to your child, because its kinda violent!

I rating this 5-star not because I liked it, but it is such a good books for toddlers to hear. All though the Cat in Hat does some mischief; it really is good. A kid classic for sure. I enjoyed this book, but for sure young ones to hear.

While I think it isn’t 5 star material, It’s a good book.

I am astounded that multiple people could not recommend this for children! The Cat in the Hat is devoid of mature content. The Cat and his minions (thing one and thing two) mess up the house a little while having their adventure, though the Cat apologizes and cleans up the house. Otherwise, Dr. Suess keeps it clean and creative.

This was one of my favorite books as a kid! The characters are perfectly drawn! The sequel of the book is really good too! The show on PBS Kids on the other hand is horrible.
