What's the Story?
In NANA LOVES YOU MORE, a grandmother panda bear professes her love for her grandchild with a series of hyperbolic rhymes. "Forever from one past one hundred and four,/ You'll always love NANA, but NANA loves YOU more." The grandchild asks Nana if her love surpasses places like the moon, stars, Paris and the Eiffel Tower, and things like rainbows, dreams, a bath overflowing with bubbles, and the biggest of all birthday cakes. To each question, Nana replies with a rhyme that explains how much further her love goes. In the end, Nana assures her grandchild that she'll always be there for guidance.
Is It Any Good?
This book is a cute, brief celebration of grandparent love, and Spanish illustrator Miguel Ordonez's childlike illustrations bring to life the sweet words in the text. Nana Loves You More is an easy read that can be a gift for first-time grandmothers or an addition to the bookshelf with the other books in the series.
