Common Sense Media absolutely doesn't make sense.

A kid literally fell into a chute that goes to the furnace, and they rate that 6 and up?! WHAT?!

Fun read with some mischief behavior

This book is very, very fun book to read -- there is plenty of humor and fun moments. There is NEVER a dull moment in this book. Willy Wonka is a funny, likeable character. Although in this book there are 4 naughty children who gets into mischief and there are consequences for what they've done. This book is more to promote fun than teach anything. A classic Dahl book is really a classic in our Classic Literature Book.

Great book!

I thought it was an amazing book, and I liked everything. I especially liked the part when he won the Golden Ticket. My second favorite was going into the chocolate factory because no one knew what it looked like. Additionally, I liked the part when Augustus got stuck in the pipe because it was so funny. In summary, I loved Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

One of my most favorite classic books

I reccomend this book because it teaches valuable life lessons, and Charlie is a good role model for children because he is hard working and he cares for his family.

A really good book

Some younger kids might not like it because it might be scary to them but I really enjoyed reading it

Good book,not author

Roald Dahl was a VERY unpleasent man,kid of twisted. Look him up before you read his books.
