Tom Cassidy's Profile
About Tom Cassidy
Tom has worked as an entertainment writer and editor for more than a decade, taking his first music editor job while at university studying journalism. During a fun five years in Hong Kong, he helmed his own alternative music, movies, and culture magazine while day-jobbing as entertainment editor for Cathay Pacific's inflight magazine. He also ran a children's magazine about horses, city guides, and a food magazine. Later, London called and he continued writing about movies and music for both big international publications and specialist magazines, while amassing a collection of life-affirming Japanese weepies -- with Wolf Children, The Story of Yonosuke, and Departures at the top of the pile. The father of two now lives in the English countryside and because of that is more than ever thankful for Blu-rays and online shopping.
