Sally Engelfried's Profile
About Sally Engelfried
Sally was grateful for the Harry Potter craze because it meant she no longer had to explain to other adults why she reads children's novels. She currently writes reviews of juvenile and young adult books for BayViews, a monthly journal published by the Association of Children's Librarians of Northern California and works as a children's librarian. Sally loves comparing opinions about books with her two daughters, although they've begun moving on to adult titles. She recently found herself sitting between her 13-year-old, who was reading Valerie Plame's memoir, and her 11-year-old, who was reading Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper. Sally was reading Gregor the Overlander, a fantasy written by Suzanne Collins for 9- to 12-year-olds.
