John Lachine's Profile
About John Lachine
John is a former labor organizer who played a key role in several high-stakes campaigns across the country. He taught at the English School of Gothenburg for several years, where he first began to teach media literacy. He now teaches English to high schoolers in his home state of Wisconsin. He earned his bachelor's degree from Evergreen State College and his master's degree from University of Uppsala (where he wrote his thesis analyzing misrepresentation of refugees in the media) and later continued his research at Lund University, studying strategic communications. John's childhood was punctuated by the tuning of a radio dial in his parents' car, and his love for radio naturally transitioned to a modern-day interest in podcasts.
