I have never actually used Vine, but I have seen Vine Compilations and they are very funny.

Hysterical but subjective content throughout this archive of nostalgia and laughs.
Vine was a video-sharing service/app acquired with Twitter that ran from 2012 to 2019.
Language(4/5): Lots of profanity in many vines, but it is very sporadic depending on how you use the website or who you watch. Be aware of frequent use of "f**k", "s**t", "b**ch", "t*tties", "a**", "pu**y", "d**k", and more. Also some rap songs are heard that use frequent cursing.
Sex(2/5): Some overt references to bodily functions are seen, and it does warn you about sensitive content, however it all depends on how you use the website.
Drinking, Drugs, And Smoking(3/5): Many uses of weed, marijuana, drinking, vaping, cigarettes, and more, but it is infrequent.
Violence(1/5): Some violent images are seen, but it is very infrequent.
Positivity is behind comedy mostly, so I didn't put any messages or representations because it's very subjective.
Best Vines(in my opinion): "So, basically, what I was thinking of, was, uh- (gets punched) Oh f**k, I can't believe you've done this!", "You better watch out, you better watch out, yOU BeTTeR WatcH OuT, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, YOU BETTER WATCH OU-", and "We got a new thing at Del Taco! It's called fresha- fresha- Freeshaavaacado!"
Quality(opinionated): A collection of the average day people being caught in really funny situations that became timeless overtime with vines being ripped back onto YouTube, scripted or not. Vine is probably one of the least controversial social media websites, and for that, it's my favorite.

Vine
Families are WAY to over protective! You're child is going to see "bad things" one way or another, so why not let them learn that stuff while having fun. Parents now clearly have no faith that their kids will do the right thing and not look for bad things. If you believe that your kid will get some freedom and immediately abuse it, what does that say about the way you raised them? Your kid is going to learn bad stuff at school more than they're going to learn it from apps such as vine. YOU NEED TO TRUST YOUR KIDS MORE!!!!!! All of you that are on this site worry too much. Porn isn't bad as long as ***you tell your kids that's not hove real sex is!*** Curses are just words. *You can raise them to know that just because you see something on tv, your phone, etc. doesn't mean that it's ok!* In conclusion, raise your kids better and don't worry so much that something bad will happen just because you (annoying soccer mom voice) "saw it on the news!" *mic drop*

Vine--What Parents Need To Know
Based on experience, I think Vine is just a waste of time. I downloaded Vine and was disappointed to find what is offered. After 1 or 2 days after downloading it, I deleted the app. Vine is easy to use, but I don't get on what it has to offer. You can see videos of other stars on Vine, but it isn't that interesting to me, and some of my other friends, so we don't really communicate on Vine that often. Vine has violence in its videos, but also can have swearing with it too. Vine is just a waste of time with my friends, and I.

Very creative but mature
This allows people to post videos of whatever they want and let their creativity run wild. Many popular people on the app use bad language and mature jokes that young kids and teenagers should not hear as they could be picked up and used. I think 15 and up is a responsible age for this app as you understand the words used and probably won't use them.

Create way to stay connected with the rest of the world
I think parents are being a little over protective! Yes I know its a new stage in your kids life, but your going too get though it. Once social media starts, its doe not stop. Yes I know I'm only 13 but please kids want too fit in. And plus its a great way to stay connected in a safe way. You do know your ablke to set parental controls, right?

I LOVE VINE
Vine is an amazing app because you can see all types of videos but there is some bad videos so I think mature kids can have one.

Definitely not for younger kids.
It's really easy to find videos with cussing on the Vine app, there's some Vines that make jokes about certain ethnic groups, and sometimes there are videos of sex-related things (which may or may not be labeled as "sensitive content"). And a lot of Vines are simply people going out in public and harassing complete strangers. This supports that this app is not for kids, because they may go out and repeat the things they see on there. But there are also some Vines of harmless things like baby animals, video games, and food.
