We had this for the 30 day free trial and couldn't cancel, I'm on my third month of trying to cancel this app and fighting with this company to shut off my service. Don't download this APP!

So cool!

Parents need to know that Sago Mini Friends lets very young app users explore and play some of the same things they play with friends. There's no wrong way to play, but kids do need enough fine motor control to be able to move the toys into approximately the target location. Kids move from house to house, ringing the doorbell and going inside to play with a friend. All the homes featured are traditional single-family homes.

What's It About?

SAGO MINI FRIENDS takes kids on a neighborhood stroll where they'll ring friends' doorbells and go in to play. Kids start by choosing which of the five animal characters to play. The other four friends live in four houses along the street. After kids ring the bell, they go in to play a different activity at each home. They'll have pizza and ice cream snacks, play dress-up, play with trains, blow up balloons, wash dishes, water a plant, have a sleepover, and more. Kids can ride a swing pulled by balloons into the air to choose a new character.

Sago Mini, once again, creates a sweet, fun experience for toddlers and young preschoolers that builds on their interests and experiences and lets them explore technology and cause and effect while being delighted. The number of experiences will keep kids entertained and fascinated for quite some time, and the game is perfectly designed for side-by-side play, allowing multiple fingers to touch and play at once.

The parent section includes instructions for ensuring the favorite activities -- blowing up balloons and playing dress-up -- are available if parents use a specific finger gesture. Play continues until kids complete the task or don't touch the device for a few seconds, and then kids can leave that house and move to another.

Talk to Your Kids About ...

  • Families can talk about real-life experiences kids have had that are similar to those featured in the app: "Remember when you helped Grandma wash dishes?" or "Did you have fun when you played trains at the toy store?"

  • If kids find any of the play activities especially fascinating, replicate them on a real-life playdate.
