Procreate will lose your child's work

If Procreate or your ipad crashes and need to reinstall, not only will they charge you $9.99 again, your child will lose all of their work. Its stored no place but the app on the ipad. It never restores. My daughter cried for hours.

Is It Any Good?

Procreate isn't just an app to use on the go; it's simply impressive enough to take the place of many desktop programs. Thanks to the customization function the brush options are limitless, but an impressive arsenal is also included. Working in layers is easy since kids can move between layers with a tap. The ability to create very high resolution images is impressive, and Procreate is more customizable than Sketchbook Pro. However, teens used to working with Sketchbook Pro may miss options like flood fill and the clone brush, among a few other tools. While Procreate is fantastic, it's probably too sophisticated for younger kids. For beginners, or kids just dabbling in digital art and design, a simpler option might be better.
