What’s It About?
MY PLAYHOME STORES is a virtual shopping area for the My PlayHome characters. The original app isn't required, but this one is more fun when paired with it. Kids can shop at a clothing store, an ice cream shop, a produce market, and a grocery store. There are clothes to try on, ice cream cones and frozen drinks to serve, smoothies to make, and groceries to scan and bag. An ATM ensures that characters always have virtual cash on hand. The best part? All items purchased in My PlayHome Stores appear with the characters when kids open My PlayHome.
Is It Any Good?
Like My PlayHome, My PlayHome Stores is an engaging, interactive experience. Kids will enjoy exploring all the areas to see what they can make, buy, and do. The integration with My PlayHome feels magical, and it's especially fun for kids to mix up their own smoothies or frozen drink flavors before drinking them with a straw. With only four stores, the experience feels limited, but the publisher has significantly updated My PlayHome over time (for free), so we can probably expect to see this one grow as well. Fans of the original app won't want to miss this one, but the original is a better starting place for those new to the series.
