Care more about $ than quality

The game is fun, albeit a bit repetitive after a while. It is incredibly buggy software and they don't seem to want to fix anything. Players in my alliance have had to quit because they can no longer log in, have had to switch devices (me) to get it to work, and playing issues are common. I get "anamoly detected" at least 3 times every time I attempt to log in. They don't care much about this. They are doing a better job of providing resources at no cost than in the beginning, however, you have to be a very powerful team to take advantage of this fully. I'm top 500 overall and do not get very far in events, and only the strongest alliances will be able to do anything in the strongest raids. The number of popups asking you to buy stuff is overwhelming - I get a half dozen or more every day. We get it, you need to spend money to excel. Game play is pretty straight forward. Pick a team and battle the app's teams. The complexity lies within the characteristics of each character, and when players choose to use the advanced strikes. At certain levels within the game (Arena, Blitz, Raids), it pretty much doesn't matter what you do, the game will beat you. Learn this now. The game is "violent" only because it is battles with weapons - however, nothing in comparison to many games and it is not a realism game like a first person shooter, for example. No sex, no swearing, no alcohol, drugs, or smoking at all. Overall it can be fun, though with time it is a little too much of the same thing, has way too many bugs, and is very money focused.

Constant crashing

Game overheats I Pad and constantly crashes during game. It has destroyed my I Pad air 2. Developer fully aware of this but refuses to refund or help in any way. Apple also refuse to listen ...see comments above as this is clearly a common theme. Developer quotes their terms and conditions at you claiming no refunds.....do not touch this game for the above reasons and also the fact it’s a huge pay to play.

Is It Any Good?

As good as comic book characters are alone, there's nothing quite as exciting as when they all come together and duke it out in a massive super-powered crossover melee. Marvel Strike Force captures that feeling as players recruit and choose their favorite characters, mixing and matching powers and abilities to come up with effective combinations. The battles look amazing, too, with sharp details and fluid animations that bring the comic book action to life. Whether it's Captain America throwing his mighty shield or Jessica Jones introducing her knee to some poor thug's groin, each character feels distinct and unique.

You'll unlock lots of different modes as you level up in Marvel Strike Force, many of which come with their own energy resource that you'll use to play. That's good for making sure you've got something to do, even if the gameplay rarely changes. While there might be restrictions or special goals, it always boils down to pitting your five best characters against whatever the game throws at you. One big downside to the game is that if you want to make any real progress, you're either going to have to spend a fair bit of money on special offers or resources, or you're going to have to do a LOT of replaying the same stages over and over. Even when you do spend money, there's still no way to avoid the repetition. It just makes things slightly more streamlined. While that might keep you from getting ahold of some of your favorite characters for a while, it never takes away from the overall excitement of battle. But just like most comic book crossovers, expect to deal with a bit of build up before the truly epic battles begin.
