Marvel Future Revolution

This mobile adventure feels just like a Marvel comic adventure, and is almost on par with big console or PC releases. Marvel Future Revolution has a look and a feel that makes it easy to forget you're playing on a mobile device. The game features detailed visuals and stunning cinematics that pull you deep into this superhero adventure. The game's also a sort of love letter to Marvel comic books fans, as the game pulls treats from the whole of the Marvel library, such as costumes and other references from both fan favorite and obscure storylines.

As good as Marvel Future Revolution looks and feels, that's not to say it's a truly mint condition comic book experience. There are a couple of rough edges to contend with. The controls, borrowed in large part from Netmarble's other big Marvel mobile game, Marvel Future Fight, can feel cramped on smaller screens and even cause your hands to block some of the onscreen action. It's particularly noticeable here, as Future Revolution is constantly trying to pack as much as possible into the limited real estate of the mobile screen. Also, since powers operate on a recharge timer, it can take a while to get a steady rhythm down to keep the fight going. Many times, you'll find yourself overwhelmed by enemies and hear your chosen hero gripe about their powers not working. The game's Autoplay feature can take some of the guesswork out of this while still leaving players some small level of control. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be using any actual strategy so much as firing off whatever power happens to be charged up at any given time. Despite these initial gripes, Marvel Future Revolution seems to have built a strong and substantial foundation that will keep getting even better as time goes on.
