Zoom into Algebra

My 10 year son tried it last year with much success. We came back this year and he is doing it super fast. At level 8 in a few days. Now I am trying to persuade my older daughter to use it. She is not that inclined to maths and I feel she would benefit too.

What's It About?

KAHOOT! ALGEBRA 2 BY DRAGONBOX is a fun and challenging game that helps kids learn how to solve algebraic equations. The game mode has 10 chapters with 20 levels to complete in each. There is also a practice mode so kids can use what they've learned to solve more traditional equations. The main goal is to solve equations by dragging and tapping objects so the dragon in the box is by itself on one side of the screen. When kids are successful, the dragon eats anything on the opposite side of the screen and continues to grow. Once all 20 levels within a chapter are complete, the dragon is finished growing, and the next chapter is unlocked. Hints help guide kids who struggle, and, after one unsuccessful try at a level, kids can tap to see the solution.

This game is so fun to play it's almost addictive. Even more amazing is that Kahoot! Algebra 2 by DragonBox truly builds a conceptual understanding of algebra, which will help kids solve equations beyond those presented in the app. Kids start by learning to solve the most basic problem: getting the box alone on the screen. As they advance, they solve equations that increase in difficulty, using skills such as multiplication, expansion, and combining like terms. The practice mode reinforces what kids learned in the game, and step-by-step solutions help kids who need extra support. Kahoot! Algebra 2 by DragonBox is content-rich and delivers high-quality fun.
