What is, no thanks

If you want to play a trivia game where the questions are scripture, Shakespeare or US politics this is the game for you. The algorithm learns the topics you are not good at and then inundates you with them. In addition, you are playing against bots not real people so another method of unfair gameplay. Strictly made to take your money, this game needs to be removed from the App Store and UKEN needs to be sued by way of a class action lawsuit.

This quiz app captures the fun and challenge of the game show very well, testing your knowledge of facts and trivia. Jeopardy! World Tour provides a fun app experience -- players pick the questions they want to answer, and progress through a few rounds each game. They have some help along the way; they’re given Power-Ups before each match that offer extra time before responding and other bonuses, and you can skip questions. Even if they don’t win, kids will make some progress, earning cash and seven types of gems associated with subjects players encounter -- arts and literature, entertainment, history, geography, language, lifestyle, and science -- which can eventually help upgrade your bank to get more cash. Feeling like they’re moving forward may help prevent frustration if some of the questions prove too challenging.

The app is free to use. Like many apps, users can purchase packages of items to help them advance more quickly through the experience, but it doesn’t seem to be a necessary component to play. That said, you have to pay to play each round; it’s a small amount, but kids could, in theory, run into problems if they run out of money -- which would be a shame. Guessing and either getting it right, or seeing the correct answer if you don’t, can be a fun way to master the facts featured in each game.Overall, Jeopardy! World Tour gives players a taste of the show without having to audition or face the pressures of the live game show.
