What’s It About?

In FASTLANE: ROAD TO REVENGE, you're trying to clean up the city streets by, uh, destroying every car on the highway? Really? Okay, so yeah, you drive fast and use mounted machine guns to destroy ever car, truck, and gas-carrying 18-wheeler on the highway, while avoiding barricades and other obstacles that come your way.

Like a relentless version of the classic arcade game Spy Hunter, this car combat game will satisfy your love of shooting and your need for speed. In Fastlane: Road to Revenge, you drive a muscle car that comes with machine guns and other weapons as standard equipment. As you drive the highway, you have to gun down any and all enemy cars, trucks, 18-wheeler gas trucks, even ambulances. You even, after a bit, have an armed drone following you around as well, and get to briefly pilot an attack helicopter. Even cooler, when your enemies explode, and they will, they drop money and power-ups, with the former going to the slush fund you use to buy better cars and weapons, as well as to improve the ones you already own. All of which is done with the touch of a single finger, which not only causes your car to move, but to shoot an endless stream of bullets as well. The game ever cleverly pauses when you take your finger off the screen. The hope is that you'll go further and further every time, as you avoid lane-blocking obstacles, enemies who shoot back, and cars that will damage yours when you crash into them. All of which makes Fastlane: Road to Revenge a fun and engaging arcade car combat game that will keep fans of vehicular manslaughter entertained for days.

  • Families can talk about violence in video games. Does it make you feel differently about the violence in the game given that it's against cars and thus there's no blood or gore?

  • Talk about driving safety. What does this game show you about why its importantly to follow the rules of the road, especially speed limits?

  • Discuss spending money. Given that you can earn in-game money by playing or watching ads, does it make sense to spend money on this game? Or, more exactly, does it make sense to spend a lot of money on this game, when spending a little will still help the developers pay their rent?
