Counting Caterpillar
Parent and Kid Reviews
What’s It About?
The cute creature in Counting Caterpillar is hungry, and your kid needs to feed it aphids by dragging them in numerical order onto the caterpillar. Young kids can get hints by color if needed. The app rewards kids with a beautiful butterfly for each of the 45 levels completed. Counting Caterpillar is definitely for beginning counters, but can get more complicated for kids who can remember numbers in random placements.
Is It Any Good?
COUNTING CATERPILLAR is well worth the $1.99 price. As the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly by eating the numbers that players feed it in correct order, the kids themselves are being transformed into numbers masters, ready to take flight into the next levels of math with counting confidence. The butterfly graphics are quite captivating, and a nice change of pace from the average math app.
