What's It About?
AZOOMEE - KIDS' GAMES & VIDEOS is a cross between a social media platform and an entertainment app for kids. Parents start by creating a master account and choosing a subscription level. They can then add a profile for each of their kids. Kids can connect with friends by swapping their unique friend codes and asking parents to approve the friendships. Once connected, kids have access to chat and use various stickers to communicate. When not chatting, kids will enjoy videos, audiobooks, drawing, and a wide range of games to occupy their time. All of the content is hand-selected and hosted from within the app environment, so kids aren't using YouTube, GIPHY, or other outside tools or sites. The video content includes animals, crafts, sports, magic tricks, etc. The audio collection encompasses classic stories, animal stories, and tales from around the world. And kids who like games will find word games, puzzles, coding, dress-up, sports, racing, and more.
Is It Any Good?
With plenty of dubious content online, it's refreshing to have an entertaining library and chatting option for kids in a safe environment for them to explore. Azoomee - Kids' Games & Videos includes both the ability to communicate with friends and a strong assortment of games, videos, and audiobooks. The games replicate some favorite styles like endless runners, word games, and brain games, but kids will also likely find some that are new and fun. It would be helpful to have more filtering in place based on the user's age. A 5-year-old, as an example, will struggle with a word game that requires spelling five- and six-letter words. Also, some of the videos and audiobooks will feel too young to a tween. But kids have plenty of room to explore and will eventually find their favorites of the bunch. The best audience here is early elementary school kids through tweens. And, since the subscription rate covers all of the kid accounts on a login, families with multiple kids will get more bang for their buck.
