Intensely disappointing

I went to the cinema to see this, having loved watching Shrek cartoons with my sister. I was quite excited. The trailer looked good. I went into the cinema anticipating a decent film. I came out with a disappointed expression. Terrible movie. It felt rushed, the jokes were forced and the villain was the worst thing about it.

What's It About?

Children swipe to move the story along and are able to interact with the pictures at will. Virtually every illustration on the page has some interactive element, and by uncovering hidden motions, kids will find hidden tree leaves, which they can bat about the page with their fingers. The story highlights words as they're spoken aloud -- and kids can touch the words with their fingers to have them spoken aloud (a useful feature for those just learning to read).

Blend the wave of nostalgia this app brings forth with the warm story at the heart of A CHARLIE BROWN THANKSGIVING, and you've got an absolute winner. Using the show's original vocals and soundtracks, it masterfully turns a 30-minute television show into a terrifically interactive story. At the same time, it effectively communicates the message of Thanksgiving.
