About the Information Service

Coffeyville Police Department utilitizes the Genasys Emergency Management (GEM) software, which is a multi-channel (i.e. SMS, voice, email, etc.) emergency notification system that provides lifesaving emergency information to users. Coffeyville Police Department will utilize Genaysys to alert users about issues that may affect your safety, such as evacuations, weather notifications, and other emergency notifications.

How to Register

Visit Link to Genasys Registration to sign up for notifications and designate how you would like to be contacted.  To receive text alerts, you must add your cellular / SMS (text message) phone number(s). Anyone who lives, works or owns property in the City of Coffeyville or the Coffeyville Police Department Communication Center dispatch area may sign up.   Visitors or people with family in the notification area may also register.

During setup of our system, it is possible that someone has already added contact data.   If you receive a pop-up message “Email is already registered” or “Number is already registered”, simply return to the login screen and click on “Forgot your Password?”.   Then use the email or number to receive a temporary password.  The number must be able to receive text messages.
