The Utility Department's customer service office provides one-stop service for electric, water, sewer and trash service for the City of Coffeyville service area.

Making Utility Payments

There are numerous methods available to pay your utility bill.

Mail

The address to mail your utility bill is P. O. Box 1629, Coffeyville, KS 67337.

In Person

The Customer Service Office is located at 102 W 7th Street. The lobby hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The drive-thru, for payments only, is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Online Bill Pay

Online payments can be made immediately or they can be scheduled.  Click Online Bill Pay and then "Utility Billing" where you will log in to your account.  Click "Pay Account" to schedule a payment or pay now.  

Commercial accounts are unable to access online payments.

Automatic Bill Pay

To sign up for utilities to be automatically paid by your bank, download the authorization application (PDF), fill out, sign and return with a voided check to the Customer Service Office at 102 W 7th Street or mail to P. O. Box 1629, Coffeyville, KS  67337.

Credit and Debit Cards

The City of Coffeyville will accept credit/debit cards for payment transaction.  Utility payments can be made over the phone by calling 620-252-6100. 

  • Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.
  • Payments are limited to $1,000.
  • Effective 01/01/2018, a 1.75% surcharge will apply to all debit and credit card payments.

Drop Box

The drop box is located at the Customer Service Center at 102 W. 7th Street to pay your utility bills. The drop box is on the north side of City Hall.

Pay by Phone - 24/ 7

The City of Coffeyville has an interactive, voice response option to allow customers to pay their utility bills by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 866-933-6260. This is an alternative for those that do not have access or do not wish to pay on-line. Debit and credit card payments are accepted and are subject to the 1.75% card processing fee. First time callers will be asked to give their account number and house number by the secure automated system. Option for Spanish speakers available.

Processing of Payments

Payments placed in the box prior to 4 p.m. are processed the same business day. Payments placed in the box after 4 p.m. are processed the next business day.

Average Monthly Payment Plan
The City of Coffeyville offers an Average Monthly Payment Plan to help minimize the seasonal variations customers may experience with their utility bills.

Paperless Billing
The City of Coffeyville offers paperless billing. Utility bills are sent to an email inbox as soon as they are calculated.
