“Fire in Anniston” is a documentary film telling the story of the 1961 Freedom Rides and bus burning that took place in Anniston, AL. The film includes interviews with some of the original freedom riders as well as witnesses of the violent attacks led by the KKK.

Originally aired by the Alabama Public Television, and produced by Jacksonville State University's Longleaf Studios and Memphis-based production company Prodigi Arts,  this screening is the director’s cut with exclusive scenes and testimony in the fight to integrate interstate travel and public accommodations. A panel discussion with filmmakers and museum educator Ryan Jones will follow the film.
