Porsche Macan EV latest update

Price: Porsche has priced the all-electric version of the Macan at Rs 1.65 crore (ex-showroom).

Variant: It is available in two broad trims: Macan 4 and Macan Turbo.

Seating Capacity: It can seat up to five people.

Battery, Electric Motor and Range: The Macan EV gets a 100 kWh battery pack mated to an electric motor making 408 PS and 650 Nm for the Macan 4 variant. The Turbo variant produces 639 PS and 1130 Nm. The former comes with an ARAI-claimed range of 613 km and later 591 km. 

Charging: 

  • A 80 kW DC Charger: 50 minutes (0 to 80 percent)

  • A 7 kW AC Charger: 9.5 hours to 10 hours

Features: The Macan EV is equipped with a 12.6-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and another 10.9-inch display for the front passenger.  Other features include automatic climate control, and keyless entry.

Safety: It gets multiple airbags, cruise control, lane change assist and park assist from the Macan.

Rivals: This electric SUV doesn't have direct rivals in India, but can be compared to Audi Q8 e-tron and Mercedes EQE SUV.
